Great Start to the Season for Robert Walker

Robert Walker is back to his winning ways once again with a great outing at the BSHA Northern Spring show.

With his horses looking in great form the TopSpec-sponsored producer was at his very best throughout this early season show.

Robert took the Novice Hunters on the first day with the 2008 Cuddy winner, Vantage Point, owned by Jill Day; before his success continued in the lightweight hunters with Ballard Bouncer and then the middleweight hunters with Pride & Joy II.

In the championship wife Sarah took the reins of Ballard Bouncer to beat Robert and Pride & Joy II to claim top honours.

The following day Sarah captured the Large Hack class and championship riding Lucy Smith-Crallan’s Genevieve, whilst Robert rode Lucy’s Holtess D Day to victory claiming the Riding Horse title.

In the novice cob championship Robert rode Jill Day’s Chesterton to victory.

Rob also took the novice hack title with the four-year-old Royal Engagement on his first outing, and another for Lucy Smith-Crallan.
