CHESHIRE-based show producers David Jinks and Adam Forster have had a great start to the season.
The duo, known as Team Jinks, have around 30 horses and ponies to compete and train from their yard near Nantwich and both have many years’ experience in the world of showing.
David worked for leading showman, Robert Walker, producers Sarah and Peter Emmerson and Ron and Debbie Thomas before establishing the business with Adam who was previously based with Carl Hester, the Emmersons and David Tatlow.
Bringing their skills together in 2014, David and Adam also recognise the important part correct feeding plays and with the support of TopSpec all the horses and ponies have their own feed regime.
Said David: “Show horses and ponies need to be in great condition, well covered but not fat and their coats and skin must gleam which also comes from within.
“We thoroughly enjoy getting a raw youngster in the yard seeing it develop, grow and mature and then watching it for the first time in a show ring, all helped by the right feeding and management.
“The TopSpec range is just fantastic and we are especially huge fans of TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer, TopSpec Linseed Mash and TopChop Sport but there is a feed for all the horses and ponies on the yard who all look in great condition.”
With their exciting team for 2019, David and Adam have already had a number of notable successes and wins.
