Leading event rider Nicola Wilson has thanked her feed sponsor, TopSpec for their support in her quest to be part of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics.
The eventing competition was a truly thrilling spectacle, with Nicola and Opposition Buzz in their customary position as trailblazers for the team on cross-country day, recording a superb clear inside the time, with Nicola saying, “The crowds were fantastic and were so loud in cheering us on I couldn’t hear my stopwatch beeping at the minute markers so I had to keep glancing at it, I am thrilled with how Dodi went cross country – the cheers seemed to spur him on.”
After the show jumping phase, where Nicola and Opposition Buzz jumped a beautiful round 
to incur only four penalties, Team GB finished in silver medal position, describing the team feeling as “utter relief” that they had finished with a medal. “It was recognition for all our supporters and all those people who helped get us there,” Nicola said.
On arriving home in Yorkshire, where a crowd of friends and supporters had gathered to welcome home it’s Olympic Silver Medallist, Nicola said, “It has been such a wonderful privilege to be able to compete in such a fantastic Olympic Games that Britain has put on – I’m just incredibly proud and humbled at the same time.”
Opposition Buzz, meanwhile is having some downtime, relaxing in his field, having made Nicola’s dreams come true.
