It soaks quickly in 5 minutes to make an irresistible mash, ideal for horses and ponies that need or prefer a soft feed. The more water added to the dry mash to make it up, the lower calorie the ‘as-fed’ mash will be. The TopSpec nutritionists recommend adding 2 parts water to 1 part dry mash to result in a wet mash supplying 3.5MJ/kg.
