TOPSPEC sponsored event rider Bill Levett dominated the classes at Hartpury winning the CIC*** and the CCI**.
Onboard Gerry and Mary Kemp’s talented One Two Many NJ, Bill took the lead after the dressage phase in the CIC*** as the only rider to score below the 40 mark.
With a clear showjumping round and only just coming home outside the time in the cross-country this left them with just 0.8 penalties to add. Their score of 40.6 gave them an unassailable lead early on in the class.
In the CCI** it was Caroline Edwards’ Baggrave Summertime, a new ride for Bill, who helped him achieve his second victory of the day.
A good mark of 46.3 in the dressage and just one show jump down saw Bill win the section on his new ride of only eight weeks.
