The Yorkshire based rider was lying in second place after the dressage phase, but it all came down to Ian Stark’s cross country test to determine the final result.
Nicola has formed a great partnership with Annie Clover riding her since she was a four-year-old. The now-11-year-old mare, owned by her parents Mary and Barry Tweddle, made light of Ian’s course having four star and championship experience to finish clear inside the time to secure first place and the £2000 prize fund.
Said Nicola: “To win here at Bramham is really a dream come true. It’s something I’ve struggled to do but it’s nice to finally do it for us all! It has been a fantastic week and to have both horses finish on their dressage scores is really special. I have a lovely string of horses and the future is really exciting – I couldn’t be happier!”
Annie Clover is fed on TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer and TopSpec Performance Cubes to help her stay in top condition throughout the competition season.
