THE team at JM Somerville Animal Feed and Pet Foods in Kilmarnock are celebrating after winning a retailer display competition run by leading feed company TopSpec.
Based around a £2.00 off promotion on TopSpec UlsaKind Cubes, the business first won their regional award before going on to be crowned national winners.
The store recently celebrated its 42 year anniversary and the display really caught the public’s eye for its informative detail.
Said TopSpec Regional Director (North), Suzi Law: “The retailer competition proved very popular and the JM Somerville display gave customers the chance to see the TopSpec UlsaKind Cubes with open bags and this was a big draw.
“The display really was packed with information, tips and advice and the team had gone to a big effort and were worthy winners.”
The store won £100 M&S vouchers and a pallet of TopSpec UlsaKind Cubes.
Anne Torrance of JM Somerville added: “We were delighted to win the national competition and will use the vouchers for a pizza and prosecco evening.
“I think the problem and solution theme the team came up with was very imaginative and by having the feed bags open this helped the staff engage in conversation with customers.”
